Privacy policy
Last revised on 3 November 2026
This policy explains how Manjulika ("we", "us") handles information when you use Manjulika, a personal assistant on WhatsApp, its Instagram account and this website.
Information we collect
The messages, voice notes, pictures and files you send to Manjulika, the comments and messages you send to its Instagram account, and information from services you choose to connect, such as your Google Contacts.
How we use it
Only to carry out your requests and to keep the service working. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that run Manjulika, such as hosting, messaging and AI model providers, and only as needed for your request, or when the law requires it.
Google user data
With your permission, Manjulika reads your Google Contacts (read-only) to find the people you ask Manjulika to contact. Manjulika's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Manjulika has an Instagram account, @ami_manjulika_ai. We use Meta's Instagram API to publish its posts, to read the comments and messages that people send to it, to answer them, and to read the statistics of its own posts.
You can mention @ami_manjulika_ai in a comment and ask which movie or series a video is from. Instagram then tells us about your comment. We read your comment and the public post or reel that it is on, find the title, and post one public reply under your comment. A person on our team checks each reply before we post it. If you do not follow @ami_manjulika_ai, the reply can invite you to follow it.
For this we use your Instagram username, your comment, the messages you send to @ami_manjulika_ai, the public post or reel, and whether you follow @ami_manjulika_ai. We use them only to answer you and to run the account. We delete the video after we find the title.
Storage and deletion
Information is stored on private, access-controlled servers and kept only as long as needed. You can remove Manjulika's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
To delete your information, write to takingbreath@gmail.com or send a direct message to @ami_manjulika_ai on Instagram. Say what to delete, such as your mobile number or your Instagram username. We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done. You can delete your own comments on Instagram at any time.
On this website
To join the waitlist, you can write to Manjulika on WhatsApp. The website opens WhatsApp with “Hey Manjulika” typed in. When you send a message, your WhatsApp number joins the waitlist, with no code. Manjulika answers you there and asks your name and what you would hand her first. We keep that chat, so that we know what you want help with when we invite you. If a business or an automatic message writes to Manjulika, it gets no answer. When your number joins, we get a message with it on Telegram and by email, so that we can invite you.
If you ask for a code by SMS instead, you give your mobile number. To send you the 4‑digit code, the number goes to MSG91, the SMS provider we use. Your number joins the waitlist only after you enter the right code. It stays on the list, also after we invite you, until you ask us to delete it. When your number joins, we get a message with it on Telegram and by email, so that we can invite you.
If you never enter the code, your number is deleted after about two days. To limit abuse, the invite desk keeps your network (IP) address for about two days. Our record of each SMS keeps only a masked number, such as 98******10, and is deleted after 30 days.
The website uses no cookies and no analytics service. It counts the taps on its WhatsApp button for each day, and keeps nothing about who tapped. The sign-up page remembers your progress in your own browser. While a code is open, the browser tab keeps your number until the tab closes. After you join, the browser keeps only a masked number, so the page shows that you are on the list. This stays on your device. “Use another number” on the page removes it.
The pages load their font and pictures from this website, not from other services such as Google Fonts. Our hosting providers serve the pages and can keep short-term server logs, as every website host does.
